RRSP's

A Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) that you establish and to which you or your spouse or common-law partner contribute. Deductible RRSP contributions can be used to reduce your tax now for a future income stream.

RRIFs

A Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) is an arrangement between you and a carrier (an insurance company, a trust company or a bank) to be used in your retirement. Earnings in a RRIF are tax-free and amounts paid out of a RRIF are taxable on receipt.

RESPs

A Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) is a special savings account for parents who want to save for their child’s education after high school.
