The S&P/TSX Composite Index had a net loss for the month of May as commodity and resource prices remain soft due to global data indicating a slowdown of major economies. By the end of the month, the Index was lower by 210 points, to close at 15,014, a loss of 1.4%. Equities continue to be volatile as investors jump in and out of the markets on news, or lack thereof, of possible moves by the Federal Reserve on interest rates. Read More!
